Those looking for a job in Cumbria's county town of Carlisle have a wide range of options open to them as it's the major economic powerhouse in the region. Carlisle is England's most northerly city and, indeed, until 1092 was part of Scotland.

With a bus and rail station right in the heart of the city (and a small airport just outside), getting to work in Carlisle should not be a problem.
