The rail industry also provides tourism opportunities for the town.

The Bentley car factory employs 3500 people, and was used to produce Rolls Royce cars as well until the prestige brand was bought by BMW recently. Watch out for vacancies on their graduate development programme, industrial placement programme or apprentice schemes. Opportunities exist in engineering, finance, logistics, information systems, purchasing, sales and other fields. The nearby BAE Systems factory produces small arms ammunition for the British armed forces.
