Telford is a large new town located in the borough of Telford and Wrekin, in the ceremonial county of Shropshire. The town, which is 30 miles west of Birmingham, has a larger population than many small cities at 162,000. The central location of Telford in the heart of the West Midlands makes for easy access to road, rail, air and sea for distribution or access to customers and suppliers throughout the UK and internationally.
The town centre is home to the headquarters of Telford & Wrekin Council, various office blocks and the Telford Shopping Centre, the main retail venue in the town.
